It can make unmanageable hair have these results for as long as three months.  Keratin allows the hair to withstand extreme temperatures, whether they are high or low; from the summers’ harsh sunrays and temperatures to winters’ cold. It also helps styling tools such as curling irons, flat irons, blow dryers to not damage the hair as much check out this site. One of the many benefits is that it cuts blow-drying time significantly. Depending on your hair type, flat ironing your hair will only be need to be done a little. The best part is that you will still be able to curl and scrunch your hair but with the benefit of having no frizz.

The results of a Keratin treatment will make you appreciate and love your hair more. So how do we make your hair maintain this treatment for as long as possible? What are the do’s and don’ts?

For best results, it is very important to avoid your hair from getting wet for at least the first three days. No sweating, no washing, no rain, etc. Wetting your hair will cause the treatment to wash away, leaving marks behind. Leaving your hair naturally down is a must! Do not use any hair clips or ponytails on your hair for the first few days. (Trust me, you will not want to—Your hair will look too fabulous for that). A very important point, if not the most important point of a long lasting Keratin treatment comes from your aftercare products. You cannot use products with Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) because it is a powerful detergent that takes away your hairs natural oils and destroys the keratin protein in your hair. Do not use products such as mousse, hair spray, etc. A simple blow dry and light flat iron is all you need to maintain your treatment and keep your hair looking fabulous.
