Steps:

1. Wash hair at least 2 times with clarifying shampoo until it feels squeaky clean.

2. Towel dry until damp.

3. Apply Total Keratin Treatment with a tint brush. Avoid oversaturating and avoid contact with the scalp.

4. Blow dry hair completely with a paddle or round brush.

5. Flat iron hair at 360–410°F, passing 3–5 times per section.

6. Wait 24 hours before washing hair.

   • Avoid clips, ponytails, pool, or ocean during this time.

   • If hair gets wet, dry and flat iron gently on low heat.

2. Intense Treatment – Curl Reduction (Up to 50%)

✔ For thick, coarse, or tight curls

Steps:

1. Wash hair 3 times with clarifying shampoo. On the third wash, leave shampoo on for 5 minutes to soften the cuticle.

2. Rinse, towel dry, and blow dry completely using a paddle brush.

3. Apply Total Keratin Treatment using a tint brush, avoiding oversaturation and scalp contact.

4. Cover hair with a plastic cap and leave for 15 minutes. Optionally warm the cap using a dryer on medium heat.

5. Blow dry hair again, fully.

6. Flat iron using 410–450°F heat, with 5–7 passes per section.

7. Wait 72 hours before washing.

   • No clips, bands, pool, or ocean during this time.

   • If hair gets wet, gently dry and flat iron again.

8. For natural texture, wait 1 week before washing and wrap hair at night.

Recommended schedule for coarse hair:

• 1st Application

• Reapply at 4 weeks

• Then 6 weeks

• Then 8 weeks

• Then every 12 weeks

3. Curl Definition – Enhance & Restore Natural Curl Pattern

With Cliove's unique fragrance and for all hair types, it's a daily-use shampoo that maintains any Keratin, Smoothing, Brazilian, Nanoplastia, or any other straightening treatment. It's recommended to shampoo the hair two times every time using this shampoo. For the first time, you will not get as much lather; however, for the second time, you will feel your hair lather more. After using the shampoo, you can continue with a Cliove Protein Hair Mask or Cliove Conditioner.   

*If choosing to do keratin treatment following a hair color service, it is also recommended to use Cliove Shampoo and step number 1 for the keratin application and NOT the Clarifying Shampoo.

Cliove Conditioner 

Cliove Conditioner is also known as a Smoothing or Anti-Frizz Conditioner. With Cliove's unique fragrance for all hair types, it's a daily use Conditioner that maintains any Keratin, Smoothing, Brazilian, Nanoplastia, or any other straightening treatment. It's Paraben, Sulfide, Cruelty-Free, Color-safe, and contains certified organic and vegan ingredients imported from Jerusalem, Israel, and made in Miami, Florida, USA.

It's recommended to use Conditioner on the hair after using Cliove Shampoo. Apply a generous amount of Conditioner starting from the hair end, throughout the mid-hair to the top. Leave the Conditioner on the hair for two minutes and rinse using warm water; only rinse 90% off of the Conditioner. Leaving a bit of Conditioner on the hair will give better results throughout the day.

*Alternate using the Cliove Hair Mask and the Cliove Conditioner. For example, if today you used the Cliove Conditioner, then the next time you wash your hair, you can use the Cliove Protein Hair Mask.

Deja actuar el acondicionador por dos minutos y enjuaga con agua tibia, retirando solo el 90% del producto. Dejar una pequeña cantidad en el cabello ofrecerá mejores resultados durante el día.

How to Apply Total Keratin Treatment

APPLICATION METHODS

1. Express Treatment – Frizz Control & Hair Repair

✔ Maintains natural texture and wave pattern

Steps:

1. Wash hair at least 2 times with clarifying shampoo until it feels squeaky clean.

2. Towel dry until damp.

3. Apply Total Keratin Treatment with a tint brush. Avoid oversaturating and avoid contact with the scalp.

4. Blow dry hair completely with a paddle or round brush.

5. Flat iron hair at 360–410°F, passing 3–5 times per section.

6. Wait 24 hours before washing hair.

   • Avoid clips, ponytails, pool, or ocean during this time.

   • If hair gets wet, dry and flat iron gently on low heat.

2. Intense Treatment – Curl Reduction (Up to 50%)

✔ For thick, coarse, or tight curls

Steps:

1. Wash hair 3 times with clarifying shampoo. On the third wash, leave shampoo on for 5 minutes to soften the cuticle.

2. Rinse, towel dry, and blow dry completely using a paddle brush.

3. Apply Total Keratin Treatment using a tint brush, avoiding oversaturation and scalp contact.

4. Cover hair with a plastic cap and leave for 15 minutes. Optionally warm the cap using a dryer on medium heat.

5. Blow dry hair again, fully.

6. Flat iron using 410–450°F heat, with 5–7 passes per section.

7. Wait 72 hours before washing.

   • No clips, bands, pool, or ocean during this time.

   • If hair gets wet, gently dry and flat iron again.

8. For natural texture, wait 1 week before washing and wrap hair at night.

Recommended schedule for coarse hair:

• 1st Application

• Reapply at 4 weeks

• Then 6 weeks

• Then 8 weeks

• Then every 12 weeks

3. Curl Definition – Enhance & Restore Natural Curl Pattern

✔ For curly or mixed texture hair with frizz or damage

Steps:

1. Wash hair at least 2 times with clarifying shampoo until squeaky clean.

2. Towel dry until damp.

3. Apply Total Keratin Treatment lightly with a tint brush (avoid over-saturating and avoid scalp).

4. Blow dry with a diffuser to maintain and define curls (do not flat iron).

5. Optional: Use a curling iron to enhance specific sections if needed.

6. Wait 24 hours before shampooing.

   • Avoid water, clips, or ponytails.

   • If hair gets wet, diffuse dry gently.

Aftercare Instructions

1. Rinse hair with warm water.

2. Wash hair twice using any sulfate-free keratin shampoo.

   • First wash will have little lather; second will lather more.

3. Apply any sulfate-free keratin conditioner or mask, leave in for 5 minutes, then rinse 80% with warm water.

4. Alternate between conditioner and mask after each wash.

5. Towel dry hair and blow dry to help reactivate the keratin.

6. Optional: Apply a small amount of hair serum on ends to control frizz and add shine.
