How to Apply Total Keratin Treatment

APPLICATION METHODS
1. Express Treatment – Frizz Control & Hair Repair
✔ Maintains natural texture and wave pattern
Steps:

Wash hair at least 2 times with clarifying shampoo until it feels squeaky clean.

Towel dry until damp.

Apply Total Keratin Treatment with a tint brush. Avoid oversaturating and avoid contact with the scalp.

Blow dry hair completely with a paddle or round brush.
-
Flat iron hair at 360–410°F, passing 3–5 times per section.
-
Wait 24 hours before washing hair.
-
Avoid clips, ponytails, pool, or ocean during this time.
-
If hair gets wet, dry and flat iron gently on low heat.
2. Intense Treatment – Curl Reduction (Up to 50%)
✔ For thick, coarse, or tight curls
Steps:

Wash hair 3 times with clarifying shampoo. On the third wash, leave shampoo on for 5 minutes to soften the cuticle.

Rinse, towel dry, and blow dry completely using a paddle brush.

Apply Total Keratin Treatment using a tint brush, avoiding oversaturation and scalp contact.

Cover hair with a plastic cap and leave for 15 minutes. Optionally warm the cap using a dryer on medium heat.

Blow dry hair again, fully.

Flat iron using 410–450°F heat, with 5–7 passes per section.

Wait 72 hours before washing.

No clips, bands, pool, or ocean during this time.

If hair gets wet, gently dry and flat iron again.

For natural texture, wait 1 week before washing and wrap hair at night.

3. Curl Definition – Enhance & Restore Natural Curl Pattern

Steps:

Wash hair at least 2 times with clarifying shampoo until squeaky clean.

Apply Total Keratin Treatment lightly with a tint brush (avoid over-saturating and avoid scalp).

Blow dry with a diffuser to maintain and define curls (do not flat iron).

Optional: Use a curling iron to enhance specific sections if needed.

Wait 24 hours before shampooing.

Avoid water, clips, or ponytails.
-
If hair gets wet, diffuse dry gently.
Aftercare Instructions

Rinse hair with warm water.

Wash hair twice using any sulfate-free keratin shampoo.

Apply any sulfate-free keratin conditioner or mask, leave in for 5 minutes, then rinse 80% with warm water.

Alternate between conditioner and mask after each wash.

Towel dry hair and blow dry to help reactivate the keratin.
